Job Summary
Assist the Shop Manager in providing effective leadership to the retail team, fostering a sales-focused and customer-focused environment. Motivate and guide team members to achieve individual and collective sales goals while overseeing day-to-day operations in accordance with company guidelines. Ensure compliance with visual merchandising standards, resolve customer and employee concerns, and aid in training team members on company programs and policies. Manage procedures related to cash handling, asset protection, and banking, while ensuring inventory accuracy and communicating needs to management. Submit required paperwork including payroll approvals and adhere to safety protocols. This role requires flexibility in working hours, including weekends and holidays, with a pay rate of $26.22 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of retail supervisory experience
- Proven success in developing, motivating, training and coaching employees
- Possess excellent customer service, communication, organizational skills, strong cash handling, and merchandising ability
- Ability to follow, as well as implement and enforce, company policies and procedures
- Strong work performance
- Proven ability to grow the business by seeking sales opportunities and developing a sales driven team
- Proven ability to learn new technologies quickly and manage change efficiently, proactively and in a positive manner
- Physical ability to carry out the essential functions of the job, including packing candy, stocking shelves, ringing sales, standing, or walking the entire shift and lifting up to 25 pounds frequently
- Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and holidays
