Job Summary
Create engaging experiences for customers by sharing expertise on enhancing their homes and driving sales through connection. Provide daily support to the management team by performing opening and closing routines, register functions, and back office procedures. Supervise associates to ensure the store meets financial goals, visual standards, replenishment requirements, cleanliness, and safety protocols during your shifts. Serve as the Selling Captain, modeling sales generation and customer service while maintaining a respectful environment aligned with the People First philosophy. Full-time associates must have open availability; part-time Flex roles require specific weekend and weekday shift coverage.

- Must be able to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 75 lbs., while utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques
- Full time associates are expected to have open availability to meet the needs of the business
- Part-Time Flex associates must be available to work a minimum of two regularly scheduled shifts on the weekend (Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday) and two during the week (Monday to Thursday)
- Weekend availability cannot fall on the same day; an associate must be available on two separate days (Friday and Saturday, Friday and Sunday or Saturday and Sunday)
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- 1-3 years retail sales experience with shift supervision experience preferred
- 1-2 years experience in home related design, visual merchandising, or stockroom responsibilities preferred
- specialty retail preferred, but not required
