Job Summary
Create engaging experiences for customers by sharing expertise on enhancing their homes and driving sales through sparking connections. Provide daily support to the management team by performing opening and closing routines, register functions, and back office procedures. Supervise associates to ensure the store meets financial goals, visual standards, replenishment, cleanliness, and safety requirements during shifts. Serve as the Selling Captain, acting as a role model for sales generation and customer service while maintaining a fair, respectful environment. Full-time associates must have open availability to meet business needs; part-time flex roles require weekend shift availability.

- Must be able to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 75 lbs.
- Full time associates are expected to have open availability to meet the needs of the business
- Part-Time Flex associates must be available to work a minimum of two regularly scheduled shifts on the weekend (Friday, Saturday and/or Sunday) and two during the week (Monday to Thursday)
- Weekend availability cannot fall on the same day; an associate must be available on two separate days (Friday and Saturday, Friday and Sunday or Saturday and Sunday)
- For an associate to be scheduled 20 hours or more weekly, greater availability (beyond the minimum required above) that meets the needs of the business will be required
Desired Qualifications
- 1-3 years retail sales experience with shift supervision experience preferred
- 1-2 years experience in home related design, visual merchandising, or stockroom responsibilities preferred
- Specialty retail preferred, but not required
