Job Summary
Lead Sales Engineering Specialist - Security role focused on delivering security expertise to sales teams. Responsibilities include providing timely responses to security questionnaires, leading customer-facing infosec discussions, collaborating with SRE and Product teams to ensure platform security, maintaining internal security libraries, leading documentation and enablement, aligning security solutions with customer needs, and engaging with prospects on security architecture reviews and compliance discussions. Requires strong understanding of cloud/on-premise architectures, network security, data privacy frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI, HIPAA, HITRUST, GDPR), and experience communicating security posture to diverse audiences. Bonus familiarity with Java, SQL, Python, and security questionnaire automation; experience with generative AI to accelerate workflows. Remote UK-based opportunity with a focus on security within Fivetran’s data pipeline platform.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years in security administration, backend engineering, field CISO, or IT services within an enterprise or similarly complex environment
