Job Summary
Function as a Cashier and/or Stocker and act in a lead capacity in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager. Duties include unloading trucks according to store process, receiving/opening/unpacking cartons, stocking merchandise and displays, restocking returned merchandise, ordering zones, assisting in plan-o-gram implementation, helping customers locate merchandise, cleaning and maintaining the front end, operating the cash register and processing payments, providing exemplary customer service, and supporting a safe, organized store environment while following SOPs. This role emphasizes supervision potential and leadership in day-to-day store operations within a Dollar General location.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- six months of supervisory experience (or related experience/training) preferred
