Job Summary
Lead Cashier/Stocker at Dollar General in Port Aransas, TX. Function as a cashier and/or stocker and act in a lead capacity in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager. Duties include unloading trucks, stocking merchandise, implementing plan-o-grams, assisting customers, maintaining merchandising displays, operating the cash register, handling payments, and supporting store operations to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction. Requires strong math and cash handling skills, knowledge of IBM cash register functions, merchandising guidance, and effective interpersonal communication. Educational requirement is a high school diploma or equivalent with supervisory experience preferred.
