Job Summary
Lead Sales Associate duties include functioning as a cashier and/or stocker with lead responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager. Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking and rotating merchandise, executing plan-o-grams, assisting customers, operating the cash register and processing transactions, handling refunds/overrides, maintaining clean and organized front end, setting up displays, and adhering to company policies while providing superior customer service and contributing to store profitability and loss prevention. Skills emphasized include math proficiency, cash handling, cashier equipment use (IBM cash register), plan-o-gram adherence, inventory and display management, safety compliance, interpersonal and written communication, and supervisory/leadership capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- six months of supervisory experience or related experience/training preferred
