Function as a Cashier and/or Stocker and act in a lead capacity in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager. Assist in setting and maintaining plan-o-grams and programs. Provide exemplary customer service. Perform other duties as necessary to maximize profitability, customer satisfaction, and teamwork, while protecting company assets and reducing losses. Responsibilities include unloading trucks, receiving and unpacking cartons, stocking and rotating merchandise, restocking, ordering zones and drop shipments, assisting with plan-o-gram implementation, helping customers locate merchandise, maintaining cleanliness, operating cash register and handling payments, and supervising cash handling and security practices in the absence of store leadership. Ensures a safe, well-organized store environment and supports policy adherence and store opening/closing duties.
