Job Summary
Lead Sales Associate role at Dollar General in Ninety Six, SC. Responsible for functioning as a cashier and/or stocker with lead capacity in the absence of Store Manager or Assistant Manager; assist in plan-o-gram implementation, stock merchandising, customer service, and maintaining store presentation. Duties include unloading trucks, stocking and rotating merchandise, operating the cash register, handling payments and change, maintaining cleanliness and safety, opening/closing tasks under Area Manager direction, approving refunds/overrides when needed, and supporting cashier accountability and loss prevention. Requires math proficiency, cash handling knowledge, retail operations experience, and strong interpersonal and communication skills; prior supervisory experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six months of supervisory experience (or related experience/training) preferred
