Job Summary
Lead Sales Associate-PT role at Dollar General in Hazel Green, WI. Leads in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager, assists with plan-o-gram setup and maintenance, stocks and shelves, assists customers, and operates the cash register. Duties include unloading trucks, stocking, merchandising displays, processing transactions, providing exemplary customer service, maintaining store cleanliness and safety, and supporting store profitability and asset protection. Responsibilities also include opening/closing per Area Manager direction, authorizing refunds/overrides, monitoring cash levels, deposits, and security practices, and ensuring compliant operations. Requires supervisory experience or related training, strong math and cash-handling skills, effective communication, knowledge of plan-o-gram guidance, and physical ability to perform typical store duties in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- six months of supervisory experience (or related experience/training) preferred
- ability to perform mathematical calculations
- knowledge of cash handling and cashier accountability
- ability to operate a cash register and perform POS tasks
- ability to read and follow plan-o-gram guidance
- frequent walking and standing, ability to lift up to 40 pounds and occasional up to 55 pounds
- reliable transportation for occasional bank deposits/travel to other stores
