Job Summary
Lead Sales Associate-PT responsible for cashiering and stocking with lead capacity in the absence of Store Manager or Assistant Manager. Duties include unloading trucks, stocking and rotating merchandise, executing plan-o-grams, assisting customers, operating the cash register, handling refunds/overrides, maintaining store cleanliness and merchandising displays, and ensuring security and loss prevention. Requires strong customer service, basic math and cashier skills, merchandising knowledge, and ability to supervise in short-term leadership capacity. Relocation assistance not available.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent or better preferred
- Six months of supervisory experience (or related experience/training) preferred
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations
- Knowledge of cash handling and cashier procedures
- Experience with IBM cash registers or similar
- Ability to read plan-o-grams and merchandising guidance
- Frequent walking/standing and lifting up to 40 pounds
