Job Summary
Lead Sales Associate functions as a Cashier and/or Stocker and leads in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager. Responsibilities include unloading trucks, receiving/opening/unpacking cartons, stocking and rotating merchandise, implementing plan-o-grams, assisting customers, operating the cash register and processing payments, maintaining cleanliness and displays, opening/closing the store, maintaining cashier accountability, and providing supervisor-level leadership as needed. Skills emphasized include mathematical calculations, cash handling, POS/IBM cash register operations, merchandising guidance, plan-o-gram adherence, customer service, interpersonal and written communication, safety policies, and teamwork. Location: Corning, NY.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six months of supervisory experience (or related experience/training) preferred
