Job Summary
Lead Sales Associate (Part-Time) in Cincinnati, OH at Dollar General. Function as a Cashier and/or Stocker with lead capacity in the absence of the Store Manager, assisting in plan-o-grams, merchandising, customer service, and store operations to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include unloading and stocking merchandise, operating the cash register, handling payments and refunds, maintaining store cleanliness, supporting curbside or sidewalk displays, and helping maintain cashier accountability and security. Requires high school diploma or equivalent and some supervisory experience; strong math, cash handling, customer service, and communication skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- six months of supervisory experience (or related experience/training) preferred
- ability to perform mathematical calculations
- knowledge of cash handling procedures
- ability to operate IBM cash register functions
- ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidelines
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
