Job Summary
Lead Sales Associate (Part-Time) at Dollar General in Buffalo, IL. In this lead-capacity role, you’ll function as a cashier and/or stocker while assuming store-lead responsibilities in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager. duties include unloading trucks, stocking and presenting merchandise, assisting with plan-o-grams, providing exemplary customer service, operating the cash register, handling payments, and helping maintain a clean, organized store. Requires cash handling knowledge, ability to perform register functions, merchandising guidance adherence, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and supervisory experience or related training. Salary starts at $15.50-$15.75/hour with no relocation assistance; part-time schedule with frequent walking/standing and light physical requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Six months of supervisory experience or related experience/training preferred
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures
- Ability to operate IBM cash register functions
- Strong communication skills
- Understanding of plan-o-gram and merchandising guidance
- Frequent walking and standing; physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds (up to 55 occasionally)
