Job Summary
Lead Sales Associate in a Dollar General store performing cashier and/or stocker duties with lead capacity in the absence of the Store Manager. Responsibilities include unloading trucks, receiving/opening/unpacking cartons, stocking and rotating merchandise, maintaining plan-o-grams, assisting customers, operating the cash register, handling payments and change, maintaining cleanliness and safety, providing exemplary customer service, and supporting store profitability and loss prevention. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and six months of supervisory or related experience. Relocation assistance is not available. The role emphasizes leadership in a retail environment and strong cash handling, merchandising, and customer-service skills.
