Job Summary
Lead Sales Associate role at Dollar General in Alexandria, PA. Functions as a Cashier and/or Stocker and acts in a lead capacity in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager. Responsibilities include unloading trucks, receiving and unpacking cartons, stocking and rotating merchandise, building displays, maintaining plan-o-grams, assisting customers, operating the cash register and providing exemplary customer service, and helping to maintain a clean, safe store environment. Additional duties include processing refunds/overrides, handling deposits, monitoring cash levels, assisting with open/close procedures, and ensuring adherence to company policies and security practices. Requires basic math, cash handling knowledge, ability to follow plan-o-gram guidance, and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- six months of supervisory experience (or related experience/training) preferred
