Job Summary
Lead sales associate and cashier in Princeton, NJ, responsible for unloading trucks, stocking merchandise, rotating displays, and assisting customers with locating items. Operate cash registers, collect payments, make change, and manage drawer pulls while maintaining strict cash accountability and key control. In the absence of the Store Manager, authorize refunds and overrides, count registers, make bank deposits, and monitor cameras for unusual activities. Clean store floors, restrooms, and stockrooms; dust, mop, and handle trash. Open and close the store under Area Manager direction, maintain register countertops, and assist with plan-o-gram implementation. Requires high school diploma, six months of supervisory experience, and ability to perform mathematical calculations. No relocation assistance available.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six months of supervisory experience
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposit control
- Ability to perform IBM cash register functions
- Knowledge of cash, facility and safety control policies and practices
- Effective interpersonal and oral & written communication skills
- Understanding of safety policies and practices
- Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance
