Job Summary
Lead Sales Associate role in Prattville, AL at Dollar General. Responsibilities include functioning as a cashier and/or stocker with lead capacity in the absence of the Store Manager, assisting with plan-o-gram setup and maintenance, delivering exemplary customer service, unloading trucks, stocking merchandise, processing transactions at the register, handling cash, maintaining store cleanliness, and supporting store operations and profitability. Requires high school diploma or equivalent and supervisory experience preferred; relocation assistance not available.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six months of supervisory experience (or related experience/training) preferred
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures
- Ability to operate IBM cash register functions
- Effective interpersonal and oral & written communication skills
- Understanding of safety policies and practices
- Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram guidance
