Job Summary
Lead Sales Associate in Dollar General (Part Time) responsible for acting in a lead capacity in the absence of Store Manager, assisting with plan-o-gram implementation, stocking and merchandising, customer service, operating the cash register, handling payments and deposits, maintaining store cleanliness and safety, and supporting store goals. Requires supervisory experience or related training, strong math and cash handling skills, effective communication, and ability to guide teammates in a retail environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- six months of supervisory experience (or related experience/training) preferred
- Effective interpersonal and oral & written communication skills
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposit control
- Ability to perform IBM cash register functions
- Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance
- Relocation assistance is not available for this position
