LEAD SALES ASSOCIATE-PT - 21 and older only - in INDIANAPOLIS, IN S01988

Function as a Cashier and/or Stocker and act in a lead capacity in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager. Assist in setting and maintaining plan-o-grams and programs. Provide exemplary customer service. Perform other duties as necessary to maximize profitability, customer satisfaction, and teamwork, while protecting company assets and reducing losses. Duties include unloading trucks, receiving/opening/unpacking cartons, stocking and facings, restocking returned merchandise, ordering zones, assisting with plan-o-gram implementation, helping customers locate merchandise, maintaining clean front end and backroom areas, operating the cash register and scanner, handling payments and making change, greeting customers, maintaining cashier accountability and security practices, monitoring cash levels, signing for refunds/overrides in the absence of store leadership, and completing required paperwork. Qualifications emphasize mathematical calculations, cash handling procedures, IBM cash register skills, safety policies, reading plan-o-grams, and effective communication. Preferred education is a high school diploma or equivalent with supervisory experience.
