Job Summary
Lead Sales Associate responsibilities include acting in a lead capacity in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager, assisting with plan-o-grams and merchandising, delivering exemplary customer service, and performing duties to maximize profitability and teamwork. Daily tasks encompass unloading trucks, stocking and rotating merchandise, building displays, ordering zones, maintaining plan-o-grams, helping customers locate items, operating the cash register and handling payments, processing refunds/overrides, and ensuring a clean, secure store environment. The role also supports cashier accountability, adheres to company policies, and may involve opening/closing the store under Area Manager direction. Strong math and cash-handling skills, knowledge of safety protocols, and effective communication are essential. Relocation assistance is not available.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- six months of supervisory experience (or related experience/training) preferred
