Job Summary
Lead Sales Associate at Dollar General responsible for maintaining a clean, customer-first store environment, leading service during peak hours, and performing duties of a Sales Associate in the lead capacity. Responsibilities include greeting and assisting customers, operating the cash register, processing transactions, stocking and rotating merchandise, implementing planograms, opening/closing the store under direction, and performing additional managerial tasks in the absence of Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager. Requires effective interpersonal skills, ability to follow planograms, basic math, cash handling, and the ability to drive deposits to the bank as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six months of supervisory experience (or related experience/training) preferred
