Function as a Cashier and/or Stocker and act in a lead capacity in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager. Provide exemplary customer service. Assist in setting and maintaining plan-o-grams and programs. Unload trucks, stock merchandise, rotate and face merchandise on shelves, build merchandise displays, restock returned and recovered merchandise, and follow prescribed ordering practices. Assist in plan-o-gram implementation and maintenance; assist customers by locating merchandise. Operate cash register and handle payments, including refunds/overrides, and maintain front-end cleanliness and displays. Support store safety, cash control, and security practices; monitor cash levels and perform required paperwork. Open and/or close the store under direction, and contribute to a clean, well-organized, safe shopping environment. Lead in the absence of management and provide superior customer service leadership while adhering to company SOPs and policies.
