Lead Sales Associate at Dollar General responsible for maintaining a clean, customer-first store environment, assisting customers with merchandise, operating the cash register, stocking and recovering merchandise, cleaning and organizing the store, and performing duties as assigned by the Store Manager. Leads in the absence of the Store Manager, provides superior customer service, follows planograms, opens/closes the store per direction, and supports store profitability and asset protection. Requires effective communication, knowledge of cash handling, safety policies, planogram compliance, ability to perform calculations, and ability to drive bank deposits when needed. Minimum education: high school diploma or equivalent; six months of supervisory experience preferred.
