Job Summary
Lead Sales Associate at Dollar General in Siren, WI, performs duties of a Sales Associate and acts in a lead capacity in the absence of the Store Manager. Responsibilities include providing superior customer service, operating the cash register, stocking and rotating merchandise, cleaning and maintaining the store, assisting with planogram implementation, and supporting store profitability. Requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to handle cash accurately, knowledge of safety and cash-handling practices, and experience with merchandising, stocking, and basic math. The role may involve opening/closing the store and performing additional duties as assigned by the Store Manager.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- six months of supervisory experience (or related experience/training) preferred
- Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills
- Ability to read and follow planograms
- Ability to perform cash register operations
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures and safety policies
