Job Summary
Lead Sales Associate duties include delivering superior customer service, assisting customers in locating and purchasing merchandise, operating the cash register, stocking and rotating merchandise, maintaining store cleanliness, and supporting the Store Manager in opening/closing duties. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six months of supervisory experience (or related experience/training) preferred
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages)
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposit control
- Ability to operate IBM cash register functions
- Knowledge of cash, facility and safety control policies and practices
- Effective interpersonal and oral & written communication skills
- Understanding of safety policies and practices
- Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance
