Job Summary
Lead Sales Associate at Dollar General in Ocklawaha, FL. Responsibilities include providing superior customer service leadership, operating the cash register, stocking and restocking merchandise, cleaning and maintaining the store, assisting with planograms, opening/closing the store under direction, and performing additional duties in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager. Gathers and merchandises products, processes transactions, and supports store profitability while upholding store policies and safeguarding assets.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent and six months of supervisory experience (or related experience/training) preferred.
- Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.
- Ability to read and follow planograms.
- Ability to perform cash register functions.
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposit control.
- Frequent walking and standing; ability to lift up to 40 pounds; occasional lifting up to 55 pounds.
