Job Summary
Lead Sales Associate at Dollar General responsible for providing superior customer service leadership, greeting and assisting customers, operating cash register and scanner, itemizing and totaling purchases, stocking and rotating merchandise, cleaning the store, helping set up displays, and implementing planograms. Performs duties in the absence of the Store Manager/Assistant Store Manager. Requires adherence to safety policies, familiarity with cash handling procedures, ability to follow planograms, and capacity to lift up to 55 pounds; high school diploma or equivalent preferred and prior supervisory experience is advantageous.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- six months of supervisory experience (or related experience/training)
- ability to operate cash register and scanner
- ability to read planograms and merchandise presentation guides
- ability to perform cash handling and deposit control
- ability to lift up to 55 pounds
- driving own vehicle to bank to deposit money (if required)
