Lead Sales Associate responsibilities include acting in lead capacity in the absence of the Store Manager, supervising cashier and stocker tasks, assisting in setting and maintaining plan-o-grams, providing exemplary customer service, operating the cash register, handling refunds/overrides, maintaining cashier accountability, and helping maintain a clean, well-organized store with display and merchandising duties. Requires strong math/cash-handling skills, knowledge of plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance, effective interpersonal and written communication, safety awareness, and the ability to stock, stock shelves, unload trucks, and assist customers. Education: High school diploma or equivalent; six months of supervisory experience (or related training) preferred. Salary and benefits are aligned with full-time Dollar General roles.
