Job Summary
Lead Sales Associate in a Dollar General store on Harkers Island, NC. Functions as a Cashier and/or Stocker and leads in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager. Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking merchandise, implementing plan-o-grams, providing exemplary customer service, operating the cash register, handling refunds/overrides, maintaining store cleanliness, ensuring cashier accountability and security practices, and assisting in maintaining a safe and well-organized store to maximize profitability and teamwork. Requires high school diploma or equivalent and preferred supervisory experience; this is a full-time retail leadership role with duties across cashiering, stocking, merchandising, and store operations.
