Job Summary
Lead Sales Associate at Dollar General in Half Way, MO, functioning as a Cashier and/or Stocker with lead capacity in the absence of the Store Manager. Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking and organizing merchandise, implementing plan-o-gram guidance, assisting customers, operating the cash register, handling transactions and deposits, maintaining store cleanliness and displays, and providing exemplary customer service and leadership. Requires supervisory experience or related training, strong math and cash-handling skills, knowledge of plan-o-grams, merchandising, safety practices, and effective communication. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six months of supervisory experience (or related experience/training)
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, percentages)
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures and cashier accountability
- Experience with IBM cash register functions
- Knowledge of safety policies and practices
- Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance
