Job Summary
Lead Sales Associate at Dollar General in Cobb, WI: Serve in a lead capacity in the absence of store management while performing cashier and stocker duties, assist in plan-o-gram execution, and deliver exemplary customer service. Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking, rotating and facing merchandise, maintaining displays, processing payments at the register, handling refunds/ overrides, controlling cash at the register, maintaining store cleanliness, and ensuring a safe, organized shopping environment. Requires high school diploma or equivalent (supervisory experience preferred) and strong math, cash handling, and customer-service skills; ability to lift up to 40 pounds (55 pounds occasional); prior experience with plan-o-grams and merchandise presentation is a plus. Relocation assistance is not available.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; six months of supervisory experience (or related experience/training) preferred
- Strong customer service and leadership abilities
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures and POS systems
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations and communicate effectively
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and occasional up to 55 pounds
- Experience with plan-o-grams and merchandise presentation
- Flexible, able to work in fast-paced environment
- Frequent walking/standing; ability to stand for long periods
- Reliable transportation for bank deposits and store visits
