Job Summary
Lead Sales Associate at Dollar General in Chester, PA who will provide superior customer service leadership, operate the cash register, stock and rotate merchandise, build displays, maintain store cleanliness, assist in planogram implementation, and support store management in opening/closing duties. Requires effective interpersonal communication, knowledge of cash handling and safety policies, ability to follow merchandising guides, and supervisory experience. Responsibilities include greeting customers, itemizing purchases, processing payments, bagging, stocking, merchandising, cleaning, and performing duties in the absence of store leadership. Prior supervisory experience and a high school diploma or equivalent are preferred; candidate must work in a fast-paced environment with frequent standing, lifting, and occasional travel as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- six months of supervisory experience (or related experience/training) preferred
- ability to read and follow planograms
- ability to operate cash register and handle transactions
- ability to lift up to 40 pounds and occasionally 55 pounds
- availability to work in a fast-paced environment
- ability to drive own vehicle to bank to deposit money (as needed)
