Lead Sales Associate provides customer-service leadership, greeting and assisting customers, operates cash register and scanner to itemize and total purchases, collects payment, bags merchandise, and assists customers. Responsibilities include stock management, following planograms, stocking and rotating merchandise, building displays, maintaining store cleanliness, supporting opening/closing procedures, assisting in execution of store plans, and performing duties of Sales Associate in the absence of Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager. Requires effective interpersonal and oral communication, ability to read and follow planograms, basic math for transactions and percentages, cash handling procedures, and willingness to drive own vehicle for bank deposits. Preferably has high school diploma or equivalent and six months of supervisory experience (or related training).
