Job Summary
Lead Sales Associate for Dollar General in Callahan, FL. Responsibilities include functioning as a cashier and/or stocker with lead capacity in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager; assisting in plan-o-grams, stocking and merchandising, and delivering exemplary customer service. Duties involve unloading trucks, opening/receiving shipments, stocking and rotating merchandise, maintaining store cleanliness, operating the cash register, handling payments and deposits, and ensuring cash control, safety, and security procedures. Provides leadership to cashiers and staff, supports store opening/closing under Area Manager direction, and helps maintain profitability and teamwork while protecting company assets. Required skills include math proficiency, cash handling, plan-o-gram compliance, effective interpersonal and written communication, adherence to safety policies, and ability to follow SOPs and store policies.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent and six months of supervisory experience (or related experience/training) preferred.
