Job Summary
Lead sales associate duties include unloading trucks, stocking merchandise, rotating displays, and assisting customers to locate items. Operate cash registers, collect payments, make change, and manage register countertops. In the absence of the Store Manager, authorize refunds, count registers, make bank deposits, and monitor cameras for unusual activities. Clean store floors, restrooms, and stockrooms, while maintaining plan-o-grams and merchandise presentations. Open and close the store under Area Manager direction, ensuring strict adherence to cash control and security procedures. This full-time role in Burgettstown, PA, supports our mission to serve others by maximizing profitability and customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposit control
- Ability to perform IBM cash register functions
- Knowledge of cash, facility and safety control policies and practices
- Effective interpersonal and oral & written communication skills
- Understanding of safety policies and practices
- Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent and six months of supervisory experience (or related experience/training) preferred
