Job Summary
Lead Sales Associate role at Dollar General responsible for customer-service leadership, operating the cash register, stocking and rotating merchandise, cleaning, and assisting in merchandising displays. Will follow company work processes, open/close the store under supervision, and perform duties in the absence of the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager. Key duties include greeting and assisting customers, itemizing purchases at the register, inventory replenishment, planogram implementation, store cleanliness, and supporting store profitability and assets protection.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- six months of supervisory experience (or related experience/training) preferred
- Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills
- Ability to read and follow planograms
- Ability to perform cash register functions
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures
- Ability to drive own vehicle to the bank to deposit money
