Job Summary
Lead Sales Associate at Dollar General responsible for cashiering and stocking with lead duties in the absence of the Store Manager. Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking and rotating merchandise, implementing plan-o-grams, assisting customers, operating the cash register and handling payments, maintaining store cleanliness, and providing superior customer service leadership. Skills emphasized: cash handling, basic math, merchandising and plan-o-gram guidance, inventory control, teamwork, and adherence to store policies and security practices. Education requirement: high school diploma or equivalent; six months of supervisory experience (or related experience/training) preferred. Relocation assistance is not available.
