Lead Sales Associate responsibilities include providing superior customer service leadership; greeting and assisting customers; operating cash register and scanner to itemize and total purchases; handling cash and giving change; stocking and rotating merchandise; cleaning the store; assisting in implementation and maintenance of planograms; opening/closing the store under direction of the Store Manager; and performing duties typically handled by the Store Manager in their absence. Requires ability to read and follow planograms, perform basic math, handle cash, drive banking deposits if needed, and maintain store standards in a fast-paced retail environment. Strong interpersonal and safety-awareness skills are necessary; previous supervisory experience and a high school diploma or equivalent are preferred.
