Job Summary
Lead RTDS Verification Engineer to perform real-time testing of STATCOM and SVC control systems using RTDS, develop and fix control software in Matlab/Simulink, participate in site commissioning, and mentor junior engineers. Responsibilities include producing high-quality test programs and reports, leading verification activities for control and protection systems, researching and improving test methodologies, and ensuring safety and lean practices in the RTDS laboratory. Desired characteristics include strong leadership, ability to work in international environments, willingness to travel, and capacity to guide a team through R&D and testing processes.
Required Qualifications
- MSc (or higher) in Electrical/Power Electronics/Power Systems/Control Systems with 3-15 years of relevant experience
- Specialized knowledge in Electrical Power Engineering or Power Electronics
- Understanding of control theory behind grid-connected devices
- Knowledge in compensation systems and power electronics
- Knowledge and experience on real time hardware in loop testing with RTDS
- Fluent written and oral skills in English
