Job Summary
Lead the risk analytics function for Wells Fargo in Wilmington, DE, advising experienced leadership to develop, influence and interpret analysis for monitoring and oversight of portfolio performance; deliver long-term, large-scale analytical solutions and guidance to others. Responsibilities include extracting data for statistical and financial modeling, implementing innovative business solutions at scale, and providing vision and direction on risk analytics initiatives. Requires experience with forecasting delinquency/loss, exploratory data analysis, large datasets, and strong working knowledge of SAS, SQL, Tableau, R, Python, CCAR/CECL frameworks, and forecasting techniques (Linear/Logistic Regression, ARIMA, exponential smoothing) with emphasis on data manipulation and visualization. Telecommuting up to 2 days a week with in-person presence at the listed work address.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related technical field
- 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a related position
- Experience with forecasting Delinquency and Loss Forecasting for a lead US Consumer Lending Institution
- Working knowledge and proven experience in exploratory Data Analysis and process flow design and optimization
- Experience in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets
- Working knowledge of SAS, SQL, Tableau, R, and Python
- Working knowledge of CCAR and CECL regulatory framework
- Working knowledge of statistical modelling and forecasting techniques, including Linear and Logistic Regression, ARIMA, and exponential smoothing
- Working knowledge of data manipulation and visualization
