Lead Restoration Technician – Water Damage / Mold

Job Summary
Lead setup, operation, and monitoring of restoration equipment including extractors, dehumidifiers, air scrubbers, ozone generators, and air movers across water damage and mold-affected properties. Perform moisture mapping using thermal imaging cameras and moisture meters to document drying progress, remove damaged building materials such as drywall and insulation, and apply anti-microbial treatments. Train and supervise junior technicians on safety protocols while maintaining detailed job records and communicating timelines directly with property owners. Requires IICRC ASD certification, valid driver's license, and ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Schedule includes Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, with Saturday overtime as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in a lead role in water damage and mold restoration
- Active IICRC Applied Structural Drying (ASD) certification
- Experience using moisture meters and thermal imaging cameras
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. occasionally and up to 50 lbs. frequently
- Background check
- Must communicate effectively in English
- Valid driver's license and clean DMV record
Desired Qualifications
- Additional IICRC certifications such as Water Damage Restoration (WRT), Mold Remediation (AMRT), or similar
- Experience with anti-microbial and anti-fungal treatment applications
- Knowledge of IICRC S500, S520, and industry drying guidelines
- Experience working in residential properties and communicating directly with homeowners
- Familiarity with job documentation platforms or restoration management software
