Job Summary
Lead Respiratory Therapist on the night shift at Wellstar Roswell, directing and overseeing the daily activities of the respiratory care team, ensuring safe and high-quality patient care, managing equipment, supporting PI initiatives, onboarding and precepting staff, coordinating with physicians and other departments, and maintaining staff education and competencies.
Required Qualifications
- NBRC credentials: ACCS, AE-C, NPS, RPFT (AE-C certifications prior to Sept 1, 2022 issued by NBRC)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) or ARC-ALS
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) or ARC-PALS or PALS-I/PALS-P
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) or ARC-NALS or NRP-I/NRP-P
- NBRC-RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)
- RCP (Respiratory Care Practitioner)
- Minimum two years of clinical experience in critical care areas
- Associate or Bachelor degree in Respiratory Therapy (preferred)
- Current license/certifications as listed (per hire)
