Lead Respiratory Therapist

Lead Respiratory Therapist leads clinical respiratory care for patients across ICU, emergency, surgical, and medical units, serves as a subject-matter expert and mentor for respiratory therapists, coordinates daily respiratory therapy services, performs comprehensive respiratory assessments, develops and implements care plans, manages invasive and non-invasive ventilation, oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, airway clearance techniques, and related procedures, collaborates with physicians and nursing to optimize patient outcomes, supports scheduling and workload allocation, participates in orientation and training of staff, ensures compliance with policies and regulatory requirements, contributes to quality improvement initiatives, protocol development, and performance monitoring, participates in interdisciplinary rounds, discharge planning, and care transitions, and maintains safety and readiness of respiratory equipment in a full-time, on-site role with rotating shifts including weekends/holidays as needed.
