Job Summary
Set up and operate respiratory care equipment for diagnosing and treating respiratory disease across adult, pediatric, and neonatal populations. Serve as a resource person by training other employees, communicating instructions, performing minor scheduling, and inspecting work quality. Act as the primary contact during supervisor or director absences while adhering to strict licensing and certification requirements including BLS, ACLS, and PALS. This role supports the mission of improving patient health and wellbeing at Swedish First Hill within a culture of whole-person care.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of an accredited respiratory therapy educational program sufficient to qualify for licensure in Washington State
- Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire
- National Provider PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire
Desired Qualifications
- 6 months of hospital based work experience, in the field of Respiratory Care
