Job Summary
Lead Residential HVAC Installer responsible for ensuring proper installation of HVAC equipment, gathering materials, verifying site with sales/service managers, installing wiring and piping per standards and local codes, and supervising a helper. Responsibilities include final wiring/pipe connections, ensuring installations do not interfere with structures, startup testing, monitoring helper performance and safety, managing tools, submitting time cards/materials daily, promoting a positive company image, and performing other duties as assigned. Requires EPA Certification preferred, valid NC driver’s license with clean record, ability to pass background/drug screenings, and willingness to work Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with on-call rotating shifts. Must lift up to 150 pounds, climb ladders/scaffolds, and meet physical requirements; temp-to-hire position with starting pay $28-$32 per hour DOE.
Required Qualifications
- EPA Certification Preferred
- Valid NC driver's license with clean driving record
- Must be over 18 years old
- Must know construction techniques
- Must have experience supervising others
- Must be able to make decisions regarding minor problems at job sites
- Must display leadership qualities in working with a helper
- Must show tact and diplomacy when dealing with customers
- Must pass criminal background check, employment and reference verifications, and pre-employment drug screening
