Job Summary
Perform expert-level installation of residential HVAC systems, including heat pumps, gas and oil furnaces, ductless split systems, boilers, and geothermal units. Operate independently on job sites while collaborating with team members as needed. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior HVAC team members, sharing industry knowledge and best practices. Maintain thorough, accurate, and timely documentation for all installations, including job reports and required paperwork. Demonstrate strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with both internal teams and customers. Uphold safety-sensitive standards and procedures, prioritizing the well-being of all personnel and clients. Requires 5-10 years of residential HVAC experience, CFC Type I and II certification, and proficiency with iPads.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in residential HVAC system installations
- Valid and current driver's license with an insurable driving record
- CFC Certification - Type I and II
- Commitment to delivering high-quality work with attention to detail and a 'do it right the first time' mindset
- Strong desire to continuously learn and grow within the HVAC trade
- Ability to work in both independent and team-based environments, with minimal supervision
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience with boiler installations
- Associate degree (A.A.) from a two-year technical school
- Universal certification
- High-level proficiency with technology, including the use of iPads and professional email communication
- Demonstrated expertise in residential HVAC installation across a range of system types and complexities
- Proven track record of excellent customer service and commitment to client satisfaction
- Experience mentoring or training less experienced technicians
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Willingness to adapt to evolving technologies and participate in ongoing technical training
- Adherence to workplace safety protocols and procedures, particularly within safety-sensitive environments
