Lead Residential Counselor (Psych Rehab)

Job Summary
Conduct direct support for individuals with behavioral conditions and intellectual disabilities in residential settings, including administering medication per MAC plans, assisting with activities of daily living, and providing transportation for community outings. Implement treatment plans, monitor residents' physical and emotional status, and maintain comprehensive records in electronic health systems. Train new staff, ensure site safety and maintenance, and advocate for human rights while complying with all regulatory policies. Maintain required certifications in CPR, First Aid, and Safety Care within two weeks of hire.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of two years' experience in a Residential Counselor role
- Demonstrated track record as an exceptional performer and team-player while in the Residential Counselor role
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- A valid driver's license
- At least 21 years of age
- Maintained a valid US driver's license for at least six months
- Ability to pass a driver's screening background check
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb
- Ability to lift at least 25 pounds using proper lifting techniques or the use of a two-person lift
- Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment such as a calculator, copier, and printer
- Ability to sit, reach, climb stairs, and maneuver through narrow spaces or hallways
- Ability to speak, hear, and communicate with clients, staff, and external representatives

- CPR certification within two weeks of hire
