Job Summary
Conduct direct service in a GLE/SIE residential setting, assisting Persons Served in overcoming barriers to independent living and preparing for community reintegration. Implement treatment plan interventions as coached by the Team LPHA Clinician, administer medications per MAP policies, and provide crisis interventions when necessary. Perform physical site maintenance, grocery shopping, and meal preparation while ensuring a safe, clean environment. Liaise with families, facilitate weekly group meetings, and serve as a Medication, Safety, and Human Rights Officer as assigned. Complete required documentation, incident reports, and infection control inventories. Maintain a valid driver's license for van or personal vehicle use and hold current CPR and First Aid certifications.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- At least 21 years of age
- Maintained a valid US driver's license for at least six months
- Ability to pass a driver's screening background check
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb
- Ability to lift at least 25 pounds using proper lifting techniques or the use of a two-person lift
- Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment such as a calculator, copier, and printer
- Ability to sit, reach, climb stairs, and maneuver through narrow spaces or hallways
- Ability to speak, hear, and communicate with PS, staff, and external representatives

Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree in a human service discipline
- One year as a residential counselor in a setting working with PS facing mental health challenges
- One to two years of job-specific experience in the human services field
- Bilingual/bicultural applicants
- Applicants with lived experience of psychiatric conditions
