Job Summary
Conduct daily unit oversight by transporting patients to appointments and support groups, monitoring activities, and ensuring security in accordance with CTP policies. Serve as the primary trainer for new Residential Aide staff and act as the liaison between shift aides and the unit supervisor. Maintain unit cleanliness and efficiency while accurately documenting patient activities and medication entries in the electronic health record. Report all patient infractions, concerns, or potential child abuse to supervisors immediately. Operate oversight for random urinalysis testing, ensuring results are documented and sent to the lab, and manage shift reports via verbal and email handoffs.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license and insurability
- Basic computer skills
- Must be able to demonstrate a willingness to learn the dynamics of substance misuse and its effects
- Able to communicate effectively
- Must be able to follow directions
- CPR and First-Aid certification (initial training and renewals paid for by the agency)
- Must complete a pre-employment drug screening, which includes testing for marijuana
- Must complete a comprehensive background check
- Must complete a TB test
- Must be able to work at the facility
Desired Qualifications
- QMAP certification
- CAT certification
- Prior experience working in a substance misuse setting or a human service agency
